(Leporello-Don Giovanni; Figaro-Marriage of Figaro)
has performed the following roles with Victorian Lyric Opera Company:
Gondoliers (Guiseppe), Trial by Jury (the Learned
Judge), Pirates of Penzance (Major-General Stanley), Iolanthe,
(Lord Chancellor), Magic Flute (Papageno), HMS Pinafore
(Dick Deadeye); With the Washington Savoyards he has performed in
Gondoliers (Don Alahambra), Mikado (Pooh-Bah), Yeomen
of the Guard
(Wilfred Shadbolt) and Iolanthe |

(Lord Chancellor).He has performed the dramatic role of Judge Murdoch in the
Rockville Little Theater production of Nuts. He has also
done the role of Hucklebee in The Fantasticks with the
Columbia Community Players. Before moving to Maryland in 1999 he
performed numerous lead roles at the Diamond Head Theater and comprimario
roles with Hawaii Opera Theater. He was awarded the prestigious
“PoOkela” award for his portrayal of Gerrard Carriere
in Phantom by Maury Yeston and the Diamond Head Theater.
He was featured on an Episode of Bay Watch Hawaii called
“The Cage” where he was the evil Captain Blake. Unfortunately
for him, he was eaten by a shark at the end of the episode. Despite
the untimely and messy end of his character he enjoyed the experience
tremendously. He has also performed in opera Choruses in Hartford
CT, San Francisco and he also sang with the San Francisco Symphony
Chorus. Michael Studied Voice/Opera at the Hartt School of Music
in Ct. and at Manhattan School of Music. Michael is a retired Cryptologist
who served 23 years in the US Navy. He would like to thank this
talented group of generous and dedicated friends for making this
experience challenging, rewarding and fun.
