Amy Rauch (Barbarina-Marriage of Figaro, Euridice-Opera Goes to Hell) has recently performed with Victorian Lyric Opera Company as the 3rd Spirit in The Magic Flute, and Sister Celerity in H.M.S Pinafore. With the Washington Savoyards she appeared as Fleta in Iolanthe. A relatively new arrival to the DC area, Ms. Rauch earned her B.A. in Anthropology from Southwest Missouri State University, between performances with SMSU’s Opera Workshop. While in that program, she performed in

such operas as: Rodelinda (Hunolf), Many Thousand Gone (Mathew Green/Catherine Olsen), Dido and Aeneas (1st Witch), Cinderella (Flutterbye), and The Reluctant Dragon (Mayor’s Wife/Dragon). Ms. Rauch began her training under the mentorship of Dr. Pearl Yeadon, Professor of Music at SMSU. Currently she studies voice with Ms. Eve Kornhauser.
