Laura Wehrmeyer (Mariane, Tartuffe)
is delighted to make her debut with The Forgotten Opera Company.
She was recently seen in The In-Series productions of Noel and
Cole (Norah), The Magic Flute (Second Spirit) and
Carmen: The Tragedy of Don Jose (Frasquita). Other local
appearances include The Pirates of Penzance (Mabel) with
The Arlington Players (2007 WATCH Award nominee); Sweeney Todd
(Johanna) with Kensington Arts Theatre; HMS Pinafore (Josephine)

| and The Zoo (Laetitia) with The Washington
Savoyards; and The Gypsy Baron (Arsena), Ruddigore
(Rose), and Desiree (Desiree) with the Victorian Lyric
Opera Company. She has also performed with Opera Bel Cantanti, and
is a staff soloist at St. John's Norwood Episcopal Church. Laura
performed the role of Phyllis in Iolanthe at the 2006 International
Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Buxton, England, and was pleased
to return in the summer of 2007 as a member of the resident Gilbert
and Sullivan Opera Company under the direction of Alan Spencer and
John Owen Edwards.
