These performances mark the "debut" of a new English translation created by some of the company members. We're abandoning the secco (unaccompanied) recitatives in favor of newly written dialog. But don't worry--those dramatic accompanied recitatives that introduce Donna Anna's and Donna Elvira's arias are in place!

Living up to the "Forgotten" part of our company name, we're including the almost-forgotten duet for Zerlina and Leporello in Act II. Mozart added it to his score for the Vienna premiere of the opera, and we think it provides a welcome comic touch to the second act.

Expanding from our previous productions with piano-only, this time we've added a string quartet, all under the musical direction of Victoria Gau.
