The Telephone is an intimate two-character piece. Though certain aspects of the story may seem dated (when was the last time you used a rotary dial on a

telephone?) one central idea of the action—trying to connect with other human beings in this "Information Age"—is universal and timeless. Denise Young plays Lucy and John Boulanger is Ben. Guillaume Tourniaire debuts as director, and Victoria Gau is the pianist.
