The Forgotten Opera Company presented Kirke Mechem's comic opera Tartuffe in performances at Bethesda Presbyterian Church, on November 24 & 25 and December 1 & 2 at 8:00 p.m. The opera was sung in English, with an original libretto by the composer, based on the play by Moliere.

The production is directed by Deborah Niezgoda, and the performances conducted by Shawn Burke-Storer in his Forgotten Opera Company debut.
